What is Udyam registration?
Udyam is the Government of India's online registration for MSMEs, run by the Ministry of MSME. It is free, needs only Aadhaar and PAN, and gives your business a permanent Udyam Registration Number (URN).

Udyam registration in 4 steps

Keep Aadhaar & PAN ready
Aadhaar of the proprietor / partner / director and the PAN of the business.

Open the Udyam portal
Go to udyamregistration.gov.in and choose "For New Entrepreneurs".

Fill business details
Activity (NIC code), investment and turnover are fetched from PAN/GST where available.

Download the certificate
Registration is free and the e-certificate is issued online.
