Paid plans can be cancelled within 7 days for a full refund if you have not used the paid features. Event tickets and consultations follow the organiser’s or expert’s cancellation window.
Scope
This policy covers payments made to Digital Startup India for listing plans, promotion packages, advertisements, magazine features, paid event tickets and expert consultations booked through the platform.
Listing plans & promotion packages
- You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if the paid features have not been used (for example, the listing has not been featured or promoted yet).
- After 7 days, or once features are in use, plans are non-refundable but you can switch off auto-renewal at any time.
- Upgrades are pro-rated: unused value of your current plan is credited automatically.
Advertisements & magazine features
Cancellations made before the creative is approved or the issue goes to press are refunded in full. Once an ad is live or an issue is published, the fee is non-refundable.
Event tickets
Refunds for paid events follow the organiser’s policy shown on the event page. If an event is cancelled by the organiser, you receive a full refund automatically.
Consultations
Bookings cancelled more than the cancellation window before the session (shown when you book) are refunded in full. If the expert cancels or does not attend, you receive a full refund.
Marketplace purchases
Products and services in the marketplace are sold directly by independent sellers. Their own refund policy (shown on each listing) applies, and Digital Startup India is not a party to that sale.
How to request a refund
- Write to admin@gmail.com from your registered email with your invoice number.
- Tell us briefly why you are requesting a refund.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
GST
Refunds include the GST charged. A credit note is issued against your original tax invoice.
